In order to direct focus on genomic region of interest in specific genotype and rapidly isolate BAC clones spanning a genomic region we have developed a non gridded BAC libraries strategy. The aim of this approach is to avoid time and cost expensive steps of BAC clones organization in microplates in order to access more efficiently the diversity among plant cultivars in specific region.
